About

What is this Blog all about?

Shiori’s Diary is a personal tumblog/blog. Basically, this is the blog to let out my non-Anime related blogging (since having the Anime Blog cluttered with non-Anime related posts would be bad) and to give my broader thoughts on other blogger’s posts without writing tl;dr posts.

Shiori’s Diary is powered by a self made theme based on the Genesis Framework from Studiopress with the WooTumblog plugin installed, adding tumblr-like features to WordPress. CSSEdit and Safari’s Web Inspector are used to customize the CSS.

There are no ads on this blog, Melative Library and Projects sites since they are my personal projects and blogs.

Also, the source image used for the banner is here. Artist information is included on the bottom left of the banner. The typefaces used to make this used to make this banner are Myriad Pro and Chinacat.

Why name it Shiori’s Diary?

If you haven’t read my fanboy post on Shiori Misaka, you should. She remains my favorite girl from all other Key girls mainly because of her touching story.

Diary is sticked at the end of her first name since this is a personal blog after all. The first personal blog I had existed several months before I started Anime Blogging in early 2009. Sadly enough, it does not exist anymore even though I have the database for it.

Commenting Policy

All comments will be approved as long there is no offensive content. The list of prohibited content follows:

  • Disrespectful comments towards me or another person
  • Trolls and comments with invalid e-mail addresses will be deleted permanently.
  • Bashing other characters (I don’t want a flamewar going around on which character sucks and which one is better).
  • Comments that are in other languages except English.
  • Links to illegal content such as illegal streams, fansubs, etc.
  • SPAM, Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. These will be picked up by the SPAM filter automatically.

Note: The email address will not be shared by anyone and will be used to show the Gravatar in your comment.

Twitter Policy

Anyone is allowed to follow me as long they are not suspicious like a person having SPAM messages in the timeline. Following me does not give you the right to be followed back (also known as Follow 4 Follow or Sub 4 Sub) since I don’t do such activity. I will only follow back if I find you interesting or you are one of my friends. I will not unfollow someone if you were to unfollow me. As long your updates remain interesting.

However, I do ask not to follow and shortly unfollow because I didn’t follow you back. Not only it’s disrespectful, but it’s against Twitter rules and your account may get suspended. So, don’t do it!

Since March 2011, new followers have to be approved before it takes affect due to spambots and SEO followers. Aggressive following (repeatingly following and defollowing) will result in a permanent block or rejection of a followers request.

Lastly… cannot forget the Pixiv sauce (aka the Original Picture Source)…
